POWERED COMPLEMENTARY FOOD SUPPLEMENT
TopNutri® is a powered protein, mineral and vitamin concentrate to be used in fortification of food. TopNutri® can improve the quality of cereal-based diets, and is particularly suited as a complementary food fortifier from 6 months of age.
TopNutri® is designed to prevent and treat micronutrient deficiencies and promote normal growth.
Nutritional qualities
TopNutri® is a mixture of soy protein, lysine, macro-minerals, micro-minerals and vitamins designed to improve the nutritional quality of cereal based diets.
TopNutri® should be mixed into food after cooking. It can be used in any liquid or semi-liquid food. It has a minimum impact on taste and mouth feel and contains low levels of anti-nutritional factors.
Logistics
- TopNutri® is designed to be highly stable during transport, storage and preparation.
- TopNutri® is available in 3 package sizes:
- 10kg bag in box: Institutional use like school feeding, hospital feeding or refugee feeding programs.
- 52.5g alu-foil sachets: Community/family distribution. One sachet per week for a child, two sachets per week for an adult.
- 7,5g alu-foil sachets: Home/individual distribution. One 7.5 sachet per day for one child.
- GC Rieber Compact guarantees a 2 years shelf life of TopNutri® when stored at warehouse conditions. A possible minor decrease in some vitamin contents might occur.
